The point here was that people should be free to exercise their free will. My article was not about praising debauchery, it was an argument for freedom as opposed to severe sexual repression. This doesn’t mean you have to go and sleep with everyone who crosses your path. It simply means you should be free to choose the lifestyle you want. You are making an awful stretch by implying that your grandparents and all of their siblings were happy because of the repression (wait, what did you just say?!) while their children weren’t because of “other voices” (wait, what?!). You cannot simply generalize the experience of one person or family to the whole society! That’s a school case of logical fallacy and you shall not commit those. It’s a sin.
